Join hospital leaders from across Washington for the 9th annual in-person Olympia Advocacy Day on Feb. 9, 2027. WSHA’s premier advocacy event is open to hospital CEOs, administrators, hospital government affairs staff, and hospital staff and board members as invited by hospital leadership.

Olympia is welcoming a new class of lawmakers, and the Legislature continues to become more Democratic. These newly elected officials will make decisions that shape the future of health care in Washington. Advocacy Day provides a valuable opportunity to meet with your state lawmakers, advocate for health care priorities and tell the hospital story.

It’s especially important to emphasize that every lawmaker represents constituents who rely on timely access to high-quality care. Your voice and personal experiences can help policymakers better understand hospitals’ challenges, the workforce pressures they face, and the essential role they play in every corner of the state.

To help you prepare, we will provide talking points, a virtual briefing leading up to the trip and assistance scheduling your visits in Olympia.

Complete the online registration form no later than Dec. 11, 2026, to allow time to schedule legislative visits. Please register each participant from your hospital or health system separately. Hospital CEOs and administrators should coordinate with their government affairs staff. We recommend limiting participation to three representatives per organization due to space constraints in legislative offices.

When hospitals show up, lawmakers listen. Your efforts ensure hospitals have a strong voice in Olympia, and building relationships with new and returning lawmakers is one of the most effective ways to advance policies that support patients, caregivers and communities across Washington. We look forward to seeing you there.

Sincerely,

Jacqueline Barton True
