This September, WSHA is launching the Hospital CMO Roundtable, a new quarterly forum designed exclusively for Chief Medical Officers across Washington’s hospitals.
Created in response to member interest, the WSHA Hospital CMO Roundtable will provide a peer-to-peer network for CMOs to exchange ideas, share leading practices and collaborate on common challenges facing healthcare organizations today. Topics will include provider recruitment and retention, physician leadership development, quality and patient safety, workforce sustainability, operational workflows, call coverage strategies, medical staff engagement and opportunities for inter-hospital collaboration.
Through quarterly discussions, CMOs will have the opportunity to build connections, learn from peers and help shape future conversations based on emerging needs and priorities.
The inaugural meeting will take place Sept. 28. We encourage all hospital CMOs to participate and help shape this new statewide community of physician leadership. (Tina Seery)
