WSHA is hosting a webinar on the Involuntary Treatment Act on Sept. 28 from 11 a.m.-noon. The Involuntary Treatment Act touches every Washington hospital. The law also raises many questions for people new to our state or those who don’t often work closely with the process.

Led by attorneys from Epstein Becker Green, Disability Rights Washington, and the Washington State Attorney General’s Office, this session will explore what people who work in Washington’s hospitals should know about the process, as well as who should be civilly committed and where that commitment should take place.

This high-level overview is designed for legal counsel, executive leaders, and anyone who wants to better understand our state’s legal system. Please register in advance. (Cara Helmer)
