The Healthcare Executive Leadership Program is a 10-week virtual program that is set to run from April 29-July 1, every Wednesday from 9 a.m.– noon. Our program focuses on leadership capabilities that often determine who advances into senior roles – skills that are critical, but not always fully developed through traditional management training. This program was formerly known as the Women’s Leadership Program and the curriculum was designed to support areas where women are often under-prepared. However, there has been interest in WSHA broadening the audience for the program and all are welcome. Topics include:

  • Executive presence
  • Insights for empowered negotiation
  • The CFO as chief storyteller
  • Impostor syndrome, organizational culture and building high-performing teams

This program brings together academic experts, structured peer-coaching groups, executive panels and networking opportunities in a single, cohesive experience. Participants learn alongside peers from across the state, building practical leadership skills and professional relationships that last well beyond the program. They leave with new skills and a trusted peer network of future leaders across Washington’s healthcare community.

Group discounts are available. Scholarships are available for public hospital districts. If you’re a PHD employee and are interested in the scholarship, please contact Joanna Castellanos, [email protected]
