Washington’s Health Workforce Sentinel Network is a tool to understand employers’ workforce needs, such as challenges related to recruitment, retention and needed skills.

The Health Workforce Sentinel Network supports health workforce planning by:

  • Identifying the skills needed and local conditions that may make hiring difficult
  • Providing insights into the “how and why” behind workforce demand signals
  • Engaging a comprehensive network of stakeholders to identify and solve workforce problems

Why Participate?

Any health care employer can become a Sentinel. As a Sentinel, you will:

  • Voice your workforce needs to key decisionmakers
  • Ensure readiness for evolving health care demands
  • Stay informed with current, actionable insights on emerging needs
  • Benchmark your experiences against similar organizations
