The Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) has reached a major milestone, with application materials now available for Initiative 1.3: Funds for Critical Technology Infrastructure and Maintenance Needs. As hospitals begin submitting applications, WSHA is committed to helping our members obtain approval and quickly move funding into rural communities.
Application materials, instructions and supporting resources for the portion of the RHTP administered by WSHA are available online, and applications can be submitted through the RHTP portal.
Hospitals are encouraged to submit completed application components as they are finished rather than waiting to submit the entire application at once. Additional guidance and technical assistance are available throughout the application period to help hospitals navigate each step.
Initiative 1.3 of the Rural Health Transformation Program is an opportunity to strengthen rural health care, support long-term financial sustainability and improve access to care for communities across Washington. Thank you to the hospitals leading this work. We look forward to partnering with you to make these investments a reality.
Questions about the application process, portal access or required materials can be directed to [email protected]. WSHA staff are available to answer questions and support hospitals throughout the application process.
