WSHA is excited to host its Spring Virtual Board Chair Roundtable on Friday, May 22, from noon-1 p.m. This is the first of two Board Chair roundtables planned for 2026.
These sessions are designed to bring together hospital, health system and Public Hospital District. Board Chairs from across the state for candid conversations, shared learnings and connections around pressing hospital issues. CEOs are also welcome to join.
The May roundtable will zero in on the financial pressures facing hospitals and health systems statewide. WSHA CEO Cassie Sauer will open the roundtable and set the stage for interactive discussions focused on real-world challenges and strategies.
Participants will discuss how boards can approach the financial picture, examine how limited resources are affecting safe, high‑quality care and share ways to communicate clearly with staff, physicians and communities. The discussion will also highlight the key role Board Chairs can play in advocacy by using their voices and influence to support hospitals and patients across Washington.
Your perspectives are valuable and we encourage you to join the roundtable, connect and share insights.
Sincerely,
Ashley Trotti
