The Washington Department of Health, Healthcare-Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance Section, is partnering with PeaceHealth to provide a workshop opportunity for up to 20 Infection Preventionists in Washington to take an in-person training on injection safety on April 14 in Vancouver, WA. The Department of Health is unable to cover any travel or related expenses.
Prior to the live training attendees are required to attend or view the recording of a 1-hour didactic webinar on April 7from 1-2 p.m. The in-person course will expand on the webinar and include interactive components to improve injection safety practices at your facility.
To apply, please fill out this form by end-of-day on March 26. You will be notified if you are accepted to the in-person training by March 31.
Priority will be given to IPs from Critical Access Hospitals and Rural Health Clinics, but all IPs in acute care in WA State are eligible to apply.
