Jefferson Healthcare opens dental clinic to care for underinsured patients

Access to dental care can be a challenge for many uninsured or underinsured Washington residents, as most dentists do not accept patients with Medicaid. In east Jefferson County, where there are 9,000 uninsured or underinsured residents, the percentage of Medicaid patients who receive dental care is one of the lowest in the state. Olympic Medical Center teams up to give free wigs to women, kids fighting cancer

Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles has teamed up with the American Cancer Society and Port Angeles’ Studio 121 School of Cosmetology and The Hair School to provide free wigs to local women and children fighting cancer who have lost their hair during treatment.
