Hospitals and health systems continue to face significant financial pressures – from declining reimbursements to rising operational costs. In this environment, financial literacy is no longer optional. It’s a critical leadership competency that drives better decisions, stronger collaboration and long-term organizational stability.
Healthcare Finance for Operational Leaders is a new 6-week virtual program developed by Washington Hospital Services to help healthcare professionals build practical, applicable financial skills. Participants will learn how healthcare systems are paid, how to interpret and use financial statements, and how to analyze key performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
WHS co-developed this program with Hilary Whittington Kerber, President of MultiCare’s Pulse Heart Institute, who brings real-world insights from both rural and urban C-suite healthcare leadership.
Dates: February 24 – March 31, 2026
Schedule: Tuesdays, 10:10-11:50 AM (live virtual)
Cost: $750 per person, group discounts available
