Jefferson Healthcare CEO Mike Glenn receives Grassroots Champion Award from American Hospital Association

The American Hospital Association (AHA) has awarded Jefferson Healthcare CEO Mike Glenn its 2016 Grassroots Champion award for his health care advocacy and for fostering support for candidates for public office who are champions for health care. A place to grow into a career in health care

Retaining talented caregivers is something always on the minds of hospital leaders. In Richland, a new facility built in partnership between Kadlec Regional Medical Center and Columbia Basin College is offering a place for caregivers to grow, making them more likely to stay in the Tri-Cities community after their training is complete. UW offers Perinatal Psychiatry Consultation Line

The University of Washington is offering an important new service: The University of Washington Perinatal Psychiatry Consultation Line (206-685-2924). It is a free phone consultation service for any health care provider in Washington State who has a question about a pregnant or postpartum woman with a mental health problem. The line is staffed by a perinatal psychiatrist from 3-5 p.m. on weekdays. Providers can also leave a message at any time and staff will respond as soon as possible.... Read More >>
