2016 WHPAC campaign a success!

Our 2016 PAC campaign was a record success, raising more than $221,000! This was the most our PAC has ever raised in a single year. These contributions, along with contributions in 2015 and contributions from Washington Hospital Services, allowed us to give more than $377,000 to state candidates and almost $44,000 to federal candidates in the 2016 elections. ... his year's flu has flared up in recent weeks and caused at least 24 deaths so far. The flu and other viruses have sent hundreds of people to emergency departments and urgent care clinics. This has had a significant impact on hospital capacity, resulting in some people waiting hours in emergency departments before they are seen.
