During the 2018 legislative session WSHA actively pursued a bill to make improvements to clarify the state law on charity care (RCW 70.170). The final legislation represents a compromise with other stakeholders and goes into effect October 1, 2018. (Zosia Stanley, zosias@wsha.org)
