Databank is a secure, online data service that provides a central location for the collection and analysis of hospital utilization and financial data and serves as a useful resource to hospitals. Data is collected through DataBank quarterly to provide a monthly snapshot of important information about the hospital discharges and patient days by payer category and levels of service, outpatient visits and financial data.
WSHA retrieves its quarterly financial survey through the DataBank platform. The platform is also how WSHA members comply with Department of Health (DOH) quarterly reporting requirements. (finance@wsha.org, Serena Chai, Gina Fonseca Crescioni)
