WSHA Prepares for SFY 2020 Hospital Safety Net Assessment Program

WSHA has been working with the state Health Care Authority to finalize details of the Hospital Safety Net Assessment Program for state fiscal year 2020, which began July 1. WSHA is actively involved in the program to ensure it runs smoothly and provides the intended benefit to hospitals, as well as to the state. WSHA is in the process of generating hospital-specific estimates of the financial impact of the program for the completed fiscal year and for 2020 and will distribute reports to finance leaders at each facility later this month.
