HB 2447, House Health Care & Wellness Committee — Addressing emergency health care services balance billing. WSHA strongly opposes and will testify. (Andrew Busz, 206/-216-2533)
Thursday, January 21
SB 5453, Senate Health Care Committee — Establishing extended stay recovery centers. WSHA strongly opposes and will testify on the importance of patient safety measures that wouldn’t be present at these facilities. (Zosia Stanley, 206/216-2511)
Friday, January 22
HB 2450, House Health Care & Wellness Committee — Allowing critical access hospitals to resume critical access hospital payment and licensure. WSHA supports and will testify in favor of allowing flexibility that can lead to improved health care for the community. (Jacqueline Barton True, 206/216-2541)
