If you weren’t able to join us last week for the opening keynote in the Washington State Hospital Association’s 2021 Annual Meeting eSeries, it’s not too late to join us for the four remaining sessions. The next keynote in the series is on Sept. 30 with Dr. Kevin Jenkins.
Dr. Jenkins is an award-winning journalist, health disparities activist and national authority on racism in medicine. He is an expert on breaking stigmas relating to racial injustice in health care and in leveraging data-driven strategies to dismantle the effects of racism.
As many of you know, driving health equity improvements in our region is a focus of WSHA’s strategic plan. WSHA staff have been working closely with our members to implement fundamental components of health equity in Washington hospitals and health systems. We are excited to hear Kevin’s expert insight on this topic.
The remaining eSeries sessions will take place at 10am on Sept. 30, Oct. 28 (in conjunction with the 2021 WSHA Business Meeting), Nov. 11 and Dec. 9. Organization-wide registration is available for $799. Register online now!
Thank you to our generous 2021 Annual Meeting eSeries sponsors for helping to make this event possible! BETA Healthcare Group; LifeNet Health; Parker, Smith & Feek; PacificSource Health Plans; Suncast Commercial; and the UW Medicine Psychiatry Consultation Line.
