What’s the latest? Upcoming webinar series addresses current medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) trends

November 12, 2020

The University of Washington Alcohol and Drug Abuse Institute (ADAI) is offering a free webinar series addressing current trends surrounding Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD). The series will include monthly statewide webinars with local and national experts on a range of topics related to MOUD. The virtual trainings are intended to help health professionals (e.g., providers, nurses, care managers, behavioral health, pharmacists, administrators, quality leaders) develop their skills in working with patients with opioid use disorders (OUDs). Webinars will include practical tips and resources surrounding a range of topics (e.g., medication-first model with Buprenorphine, fentanyl trends, Hepatitis C screening and treatment, stimulant use disorders, HIV screening).

The first webinar will be on Monday, Nov. 16, from 4-5pm. All following webinars will be on the second Wednesday of the month at 12pm through August 2021. Please see the ADAI flyer for more information on the monthly topics and webinar dates/times, including registration information. For questions on the series, contact Kelly Youngberg at ybergka@uw.edu.
