On July 1, the Democratic and Republican leadership of the House and Senate extended Gov. Inslee’s proclamation addressing telemedicine payment parity for commercial health plans. This extension is through Aug. 1. This allows hospitals and providers to continue to bill commercial health plans for telemedicine services at the same rate as if the service was provided at an in-person visit. This is the fifth extension of this proclamation. WSHA will continue to advocate for the extension of this proclamation.
