Washington Hospital Services (WHS) has opened registration for the 2022 Virtual LEAD Academy and Project Management courses. Learn helpful tools and techniques to lead effective teams and learn how to successfully drive and manage change in your organization.
The LEAD Academy is a highly interactive modular program, using innovative tools and experiential learning to empower new and emerging healthcare supervisors and managers. Participants will learn essential leadership skills to become a more effective leader in their organization. Visit the LEAD Academy Registration to learn more about the program. WHS is also tentatively planning for an in-person event in late 2022. If you are interested in that, please email Jenn Bui, Education Program Manager, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Project Management Courses
Like the LEAD Academy, WHS’s Project Management program is highly interactive, centered on experiential learning techniques, and designed specifically for healthcare staff. WHS created these courses to help emerging clinical leaders (e.g., medicine, nursing, or allied health) develop hard project management skills they may not have been exposed to in their formal training. Having said that, these courses are excellent for healthcare staff from any area, in any role, with or without any prior formal project management training or prior project experience. Visit the Project Management Registration to learn more about the program. Flex funding may be available for critical access hospitals, please contact Jacqueline Barton True, email@example.com to learn more.
