WSHA is excited to launch this year’s Women’s Leadership Program, designed for women seeking a path toward impactful leadership. This nine-week virtual program provides participants with live academic instruction and coaching targeted to emerging leaders who identify as women with at least five years of post-graduate professional experience.
The 2023 Women’s Leadership Program kicks off with an orientation on Tuesday, April 25 and then runs every Wednesday from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. through June 21. It covers the following topics for participants to explore: high performance leadership essentials, a tale of numbers: the role of CFO as chief storyteller, negotiation strategies for women and power presence, influence and credibility.
We encourage Washington hospitals and health care facilities to consider nominating women from groups that historically have faced barriers to leadership advancement, including women of color and the LGBTQ community.
