In late 2018, Pullman Regional Hospital and Washington State University (WSU) launched an official partnership to formally recognize their history of collaboration. The partnership will prioritize work exploring positive health outcomes for Pullman patients and the greater southeastern Washington community.
Pullman Regional Hospital CEO Scott Adams said, “Strengthening our partnership and expanding our collaborative opportunities will help move Pullman Regional Hospital and Washington State University forward in our mutual pursuit of excellence in serving our community.”
Pullman Regional Hospital’s Center for Learning & Innovation and WSU’s health science and health care programs have collaboration planned to address population health and advancement of care. Clinical affiliations and workforce training opportunities will also be available to WSU health care students through the partnership. The two organizations will also emphasize project areas of health and wellness education, workforce training, employee engagement, community involvement and exploring innovative health solutions.
