I am thrilled to share the news that Ed Phippen has joined Washington Hospital Services as the new Senior Director of Program Development. Ed has an extensive history working with WSHA, both internally and externally. We are all excited to see how Ed brings his extensive background and his strategic insight into the health care industry to this role.
Ed knows our members well, having done consulting work with many of them. He’s also provided his expertise to WSHA and WHS in recent years. Prior to starting his successful consulting business, Ed worked in the WSHA offices for a subsidiary program call the Health Work Force Institute.
In the Senior Director role, he’ll be overseeing Washington Hospital Services business ventures outside of the claims management team, including Peer Review, LEAD Academy and the Industry Partner Program. Ed will also be responsible for developing new programs that increase WHS’s relevance to our members while raising revenue to support WSHA’s advocacy goals.
Please join me in congratulating Ed on his new role!
