Drug-caused deaths involving opioids increased 190% statewide between 2003 – 2005 and 2020 – 2022,according to Washington state opioid trends. WSHA is partnering with the HCA to help hospitals support people in their communities struggling with opioid use disorder and expand access to medication-assisted therapy.
