The Health Care Authority announced changes to billing of inpatient psychiatric services effective January 1, 2020 as a result of the transition to integrated managed care. These changes affect acute care and freestanding psychiatric hospitals who admit for inpatient behavioral health care, including Single Bed Certifications.
