Health care providers across Washington State now have an option to recover some of their investments in legacy devices and potentially give them new life with another organization. WSHA recently renewed its partnership with H-Source, an online marketplace for buying and selling devices, pharmaceuticals, capital equipment and supplies.
A similar partnership in Colorado is bringing real cost savings to health care organizations there. In the first year, the Colorado Association estimated participating hospitals would have needed to generate about $8.4 million dollars in new revenue to realize the same dollar value in recovered cost from H-Source transactions.
