Have you registered for WSHA’s 84th Annual Member Meeting October 13-14? This year’s meeting will be at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront, and we’re excited to welcome speakers including author of Black Man in a White Coat Dr. Damon Tweedy and former U.S. Rep. and author of A Common Struggle Patrick Kennedy.
In fact, we’re going to be selling both books at the Annual Meeting, and having book signings. Dr. Tweedy will sign copies his book from 9:45-10:15 a.m. and Patrick Kennedy will sign copies of his from 3-3:30 p.m. October 13 at the meeting.
As always, there are many other great events surrounding our biggest meeting of the year, including the Governance Skills Building Intensive October 12, the Trustee Breakfast October 14 and the Washington State Healthcare Executives Forum (ACHE) Annual Breakfast / Business Meeting October 14. The ACHE Breakfast will feature speaker Dr. Brian Wong, who will be signing copies of his book, Heroes Need Not Apply.
