The Washington State Department of Commerce announced $23.8 million in grants to support behavioral health care providers. The providers will be able to offer increased local, community-based behavioral health care options for children, you and adults. They will also assist patients discharging from state hospitals and offer alternatives to care.
WSHA played a large role in developing and lobbying for this legislation to increase behavioral health care funding and are pleased to see it continues. Read the Commerce press release for details.
