Health systems and providers throughout Washington are celebrating Thanksgiving this year with their own special festivities. Here are a few of the ways WSHA members make this day unique through giving thanks:
Navos annual holiday dinner for clients
On Tuesday Nov. 26, 2019, Navos hosted their annual holiday for clients. It was a wonderful celebration. More than 225 clients were in attendance to enjoy a feast of turkey, mashed potatoes and all of the fixings, and delicious pumpkin pie. Over 100 Navos staff members and board members came together to prepare and serve the dinner, and each of their guests were provided warm hats and gloves. They had holiday decorations, festive music and face painting to make this year’s dinner a great success for those they serve!
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance
This holiday season, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) invites you to visit SCCA retail shop, Shine. From an array of handcrafted, locally sourced gift ideas to everyday essentials needed by cancer patients, each purchase benefits patient and family services provided by SCCA. Shine is open Monday-Friday 10 a.m.–6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.–3 p.m. More information is available online.
