WSHA is currently developing the measure set and hospital commitment period for the 2024 Medicaid Quality Incentive (MQI). WSHA will offer a comment period for these measures from April 4-30. During this time, Washington hospitals will have an opportunity to provide input before the Health Care Authority (HCA) finalizes the measures. We encourage prospective payment system (PPS) hospitals to take advantage of this opportunity!
WSHA will announce MQI details during a MQI kickoff webinar in June, with details to follow. In 2021, WSHA developed a hospital comment period for MQI measures, which is available each year.
