Join WSHA’s Quality Leader Learning Collaborative May 20

Join your colleagues from across the state at the WSHA Quality Leader Learning Collaborative from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, May 20 at the SeaTac Airport Conference Center. This members-only event is complimentary. Nursing, medical and quality leadership from Washington hospitals are invited to attend. See the agenda and register here.

Agenda topics will include gender-affirming care, getting back to community through organizational wellness, and providing medication for opioid use disorder in the emergency department. Press Ganey Chief Clinical Officer Dr. Amy Compton-Phillips will be the keynote speaker at the Collaborative. Dr. Compton-Phillips is an internationally respected physician, executive, innovator and author. In October 2022, she became president at Press Ganey, focusing on simplifying health and care. Until September 2022, Amy was president of clinical care at Providence, responsible for clinical operations and care, including improving health, care and value outcomes at the system’s 52 hospitals, 1,085 clinics and 120,000 caregivers.

Dr. Compton-Phillips was instrumental in Providence’s early adoption and scaling of technology advancing the future of health care. Before joining Providence in 2015, she spent 22 years at Kaiser Permanente, moving from a front-line internist to ultimately serving as chief quality officer.

This event has applied for CECH credit through the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider # CEP17702 for four contact hours for this learning collaborative. Approval is pending. (Mitha Wardhani)
