WSHA is preparing enhancements to the Hospital Readmissions Dashboard. The WSHA Readmissions Dashboard is designed to help our members quickly identify potential areas for improvement and track the progress of their interventions as well as to allow hospitals to compare themselves to similar facilities. WSHA launched the first of several planned enhancements to the Readmissions Dashboard on the Data Analytics Service Hub (DASH) platform on Aug. 27. The first enhancement will allow hospitals and health systems to look at readmissions data by service line to allow them to target patient populations for improvement opportunities around unplanned readmissions. Future enhancements include expanded demographic data, multi-visit patient dashboards, readmissions for behavioral health or substance use diagnoses, and expanded information about reason for readmission.
