WSHA Hospital Code Standardization Discussion

Since 2000, there has been a trend to standardize hospital emergency codes. In 2008, WSHA partnered with several Washington State hospitals, hospital associations, the Oregon Patient Safety Commission and other multi-state key stakeholders to form a taskforce in support of developing standard hospital emergency codes.
Join WSHA on Feb 22, 2023 in a roundtable discussion to review current state of standard hospital emergency codes, identify new and/or variable codes and explore next best steps to align with best practice.
