WSHA + HCA Opioid Prevention & Treatment Collaborative

Medication to treat Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) is an evidenced-based way to assist patients in recovery. WSHA, a collaborative partner in WA State’s Opioid Overdose and Response Program, is partnering with the Washington State Healthcare Authority (HCA) to engage hospitals in discussion the changing regulatory landscape around MOUD (removal of X Waiver), learn how to best support ED and hospital campuses in the  design and implementation of an ED Bridge Program.
