Introduction to the STAR Network: Improving Sepsis Care Together

WSHA is recruiting hospitals to participate in the Sepsis Treatment and Recovery (STAR) Network in 2020. The STAR Network is a one-year program lead by the Washington State Hospital Association to improve sepsis care, care transitions and reduce readmissions from sepsis. The STAR Network will include monthly educational webinars, rapid cycle process improvement projects and disseminate best practices. Join this introductory webinar to learn more about the program.

Objectives:

• Review the goals and process of participation in WSHA’s STAR Network
• Understand current sepsis and readmissions data for our region and the opportunity for sharing real-time data
• Receive feedback from participants to identify priorities within this initiative
