Learn about Reducing Surgical Site Infections with Kurt E. Harmon, MD.
Reducing Surgical Site Infections: Before You Do Anything—Making Sure You Have the Right People Involved. Kurt E. Harmon, MD, a specialist in abdominal surgery, laparoscopic surgery, hernia surgery, breast surgery, and thoracic surgery is featured for this event. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, attended the University of Washington for both his undergraduate and medical degrees, and he did his general surgical residency at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. He joined Proliance – Surgical Specialists of Edmonds in 2000 and is the chief of surgery at the Edmonds campus of Swedish Medical Center. There will be an ongoing series of webinars to reduce SSIs. Information can be applied across different disciplines and others with a specific focus: the colon, abdominal hysterectomy, knee and hip surgeries.
