Learn about Targeted Assessment for Prevention (TAP) Strategy II with Katie White of the CDC.
Katie White is a Health Scientist on the Hospital Infection Prevention team within the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. After completing her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of New Hampshire, she received her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Emory University. In her current role, Katie serves as a lead for the implementation of the Targeted Assessment for Prevention (TAP) Strategy, assisting partners across the nation in their HAI prevention efforts. This includes providing education, TAP tool development, direct technical assistance, and facilitating collaborations between partners. The TAP strategy can be applied to reducing CAUTIs, CLABSIs and CDIs
