How Behavioral Health Conditions Emerge in Children and Youth

December 6, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

REGISTER HERE

Behavioral health conditions can emerge and present differently in pediatric patients compared to their adult counterparts, and when a pediatric patient is experiencing a behavioral health crisis, engaging with both the patient and their support system can lead to increased complexity in providing care. Join speakers from Multicare Behavioral Health Network, Tacoma General Hospital, Providence Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital, and Seattle Children’s Partnership Access Line as they share foundational knowledge about how to best serve pediatric behavioral health patients in all areas of hospital care.

In this virtual education event, we will learn how behavioral health conditions present across developmental stages, consider how intergenerational trauma impacts pediatric behavioral health crises, and showcase pediatric behavioral health services across the state. Please reach out to Brittany Weiner, Assistant Director of Behavioral Health, with any questions at BrittanyW@wsha.org.
