HB 1272 Monthly Webinar Series: Preparing for March 17, 2023 CHARS Reporting

On June 22, the Department of Health filed the Rule-making Order to adopt proposed changes to chapter 246-455 WAC, Hospital patient discharge information reporting, under Washington State Register 22-13-187. This is the last monthly meeting prior to the go-live date of Jan 1, 2023 to collect new demographics. We will continue to meet in 2023 to monitor progress of implementation and to support hospitals working to comply with the new reporting requirements. January discharges are due March 17, 2023.
