Families thrive when the birthing persons get support and treatment for perinatal mental health conditions. One in five birthing people experience mental health conditions that interfere with early parenting yet only 15% receive treatment. Statewide implementation of the AIM Perinatal Mental Health Bundle aims to limit the impacts of undiagnosed and undertreated perinatal mental health conditions on the person, their families, and their communities.
