Trauma is widespread, impacts patient health and wellbeing, and is a key consideration in the clinical setting. Understanding trauma and being able to apply effective strategies to meet the needs of patients is key for hospitals and health care workers. The March behavioral health webinar, Trauma Aware: Understanding Trauma and Applying Best Practice, will help hospital staff, such as providers, nurses and administrators, recognize trauma and its role in the clinical setting, as well as develop concrete intervention methods.
This free webinar, which is also a virtual pre-conference session for the Northwest Rural Health Conference, will take place from 12 – 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 17. CME credit is available for the webinar. Please view the WSHA website for more information or register here.
