WSHA Unveils New Regulatory Issues Web Page

WSHA recently updated its Regulatory Issues Web Page to provide members with a comprehensive view of state rulemaking activity. The webpage includes a link to WSHA’s Top Priority Rules Tracker, which shows the status of rulemaking activity impacting hospitals and health systems. Currently WSHA staff are either participating or monitoring more than 30 high priority issues. WSHA works to ensure the hospital perspective is represented and implementation is consistent with legislation. The tracker includes a description of the rulemaking, status, and WSHA position, contact information for the WSHA policy lead, and other information. The Regulatory Issues page also includes direct links to the Washington State Register and the rulemaking sites for the individual state agencies. (Sheena Tomar, sheenat@wsha.org)
