June 11, 2019

WSHA’s Government Affairs team has published its June 2019 update to its State Regulatory Issues webpage. Members will find a comprehensive view of state rulemaking activities that affect them. A few regulatory issues are also included. Specifically, there are details about CMS draft guidance on inpatient prospective payments, hospital co-location and ligature risk. The webpage includes a link to WSHA’s Top Priority State Rules Tracker, which shows the highest-priority ongoing rulemaking activities impacting hospitals and health systems. The webpage also lists upcoming rules development workshops and public hearings, including details about the public hearing for the hospital licensing fee increase rulemaking and OIC’s request for feedback on rulemaking for the new balance billing law.
