WSHA releases its 2020 New Law Implementation Guide!

With 2020 legislative session over, the implementation of new laws is just beginning. To learn about, prepare for and ultimately implement the new laws, please visit the Government Affairs team’s New Law Implementation Guide. Members will find a list of the high priority bills that passed this legislative session, the resources the team is preparing on them, their effective dates and a schedule for when the resources will be released. In April, the team will release bulletins on new laws governing sexual assault kits, substitute providers, and home health designations available for certain rural hospitals. Last week, the team released its first bulletin on the new law regulating psychiatric hospitals. The website also contains all of the resources the team prepared for the new laws from 2019.
