WSHA provides webinar on new Medicaid quality incentive measures

The Washington hospital safety net assessment program includes a Medicaid quality incentive.  Under the incentive provision, prospective payment hospitals that meet certain quality measures receive a one percent increase to their Medicaid inpatient payment rate.  For State Fiscal Year 2018, about 85 percent of eligible hospitals will receive the incentive payment. WSHA recently provided a webinar announcing the quality measures that hospitals will need to meet to qualify for the SFY 2019 incentive.
