WSHA Launches “Need Care? Get Care” Media Campaign

WSHA launched a statewide “Need Care? Get Care” media campaign aimed at addressing the top two barriers to care – fear of catching COVID-19 and concern that providers are too busy with COVID-19 patients to take care of them. A public education campaign was launched with a press conference and a digital takeover on hospital and health system websites across the state. Health care providers are seeing an alarming trend of people delaying care for injuries and worrisome symptoms – sometimes leading to hospitalizations that could have been avoided with earlier care.
