Representatives from WSHA members gathered together with WSHA staff in Olympia yesterday to advocate on behalf of their communities for Hospital Advocacy Day. Members had the opportunity to speak with their legislators about the need for accessible and quality health care in Washington state. Nurse staffing, behavioral health reform, support for rural hospitals and addressing the opioid crisis were all key conversation topics. The voices of our members were powerful and impactful – truly representative of their communities. Thank you to everyone who traveled to Olympia to make WSHA’s first Hospital Advocacy Day a success!
If you attended Hospital Advocacy Day and took any pictures, please send them to Emilyp@wsha.org to be featured in an upcoming article!
