To help Washington State physicians navigate the world of value-based payment and alternative payment models, the Washington State Medical Association (WSMA) and the Medical Group Management Association, Washington State (MGMA-WA) have organized a half-day workshop on Saturday, June 25 that is specifically designed for physicians and their practices.
Harold D. Miller, CEO of the Center for Healthcare Quality and Payment Reform and a national expert on healthcare payment reform (who will also present at the 40th Annual Rural Hospital Leadership Conference in Chelan on June 27) will give physicians the information they need to evaluate payment changes proposed by Medicare, the state and health insurance companies. He will also give physicians the basic skills they need to develop payment models themselves. Click here to learn more and register. (Mary Kay Clunies-Ross)
