WMC issues scam warning

The Washington Medical Commission (WMC) issued a scam warning about fraudsters pretending to be federal or state agents asking pharmacies and practitioners for social security numbers, contact information and money. State and federal agencies do not ask for private information or money over the phone. WMC requests if you receive a call like this and have questions, please email Medical.Commission@wmc.wa.gov.
