Whidbey General Hospital and Clinics will officially take its new name, WhidbeyHealth, on June 13. The hospital system announced the change earlier this year, and it will be the umbrella name for all the public hospital district’s services and locations. The hospital will take the name of WhidbeyHealth Medical Center, and clinics will include WhidbeyHealth Primary Care, WhidbeyHealth Women’s Care and WhidbeyHealth Orthopedic Care.
“People want connection and continuity in their health care,” Whidbey General Hospital and Clinics CEO Geri Forbes said in a press release. “A unified identity communicates that everyone is working together to ensure a patient’s well-being across the continuum of care.” Click here to read more about the name change.
